The REVOLUTION Collection is an EDEN LUXE x Sophie Kaye Everyday Tiara™ and Art History Inspired Jewelry capsule dedicated to the 250th year of the United States of America. It is our love letter to the ordinary men and women who gave everything they had — including their lives — so that the rest of us could inherit a free nation. Each piece is named for a woman whose courage helped win American independence: the quiet heroes whose names rarely made it into the textbooks. History remembers the generals. We wanted to give each of these women a crown.
Freedom was never free, and it was never permanent by default. It was fought for, paid for in full, and kept — generation after generation — only by people who show up for it. Wear the Revolution. Remember what it cost. Carry it with you — into November, and beyond.
WHY FRAUNCES TAVERN and THE MET:
Sophie Kaye photographed the collection on location at Fraunces Tavern — the Lower Manhattan tavern where George Washington bid farewell to his officers on December 4, 1783 — and at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, home to one of the world’s most significant collections of American Revolutionary‑era decorative arts and portraiture. Every piece began as a study of a specific artwork or artifact. One location is where the Revolution was lived; the other is where its art has been preserved. The REVOLUTION Collection exists in the space between the two.
DESIGNER’S INSPIRATION / MUSINGS:
When I began sketching the Antoinette Halo, I kept returning to the gilded rocaille curves of the French court — the scrolls and flourishes you find on royal carriages and carved, gilt furniture of the 1700s. France stood beside America when it mattered most, and I wanted to honor that friendship in a crown.
My hope is that it feels like a treasured antique, but one you can wear with a crisp white shirt on an ordinary Tuesday — because heirlooms are meant to be lived in, not locked away.
